Dylan McCoy started in the heavy truck repair industry in 2005 at W.W.Williams as an entry level tech after graduating high school. He worked in the truck shop as well as on off-road equipment in the mines. and was with that company for 6 years. Dylan then came to work at Birmingham Freightliner which at the time was Liberty trucks. After a year he left and went to Ryder and worked as a night shift tech for several months. After almost a year he decided to back to what is now Birmingham Freightliner & Western Star as a night shift diagnostic tech. Fast forward a year and he made night shift foreman and eventually dayshift foreman. After a couple of years in the dayshift foreman role he was promoted to assistant manager. Doc Eddy, the new collision center manager at Birmingham Freightliner & Western Star, was destined to be in the truck business. He followed in his father’s footsteps and never looked back. At 25, he got a job as a mechanic with Ryder, and in 60 days he was promoted to shop foreman. He joined Birmingham Freightliner & Western Star in 2022 as the store's Body Shop Manager.
